Oh wow, that's great to know! That was the biggest reason I never looked further into it for my GF. Otherwise I loved the idea of a soft-shooting Mossberg 12g at a reasonable price.

That is pretty sweet you can get the LOP from 14.5" down to 12.5"! That is about perfect for most shooters. Somebody did ask a great question about shortening the LOP even more possibly affecting reliability (from shortening the recoil tube). I don't have a clue about the mechanics of this weapon, but is that something to worry about?

Oooh, you're right. I didn't notice that the first time. Still, 13.5" is probably better than the 14.5" for 97% of shooters out there (or 99.8% of defensive users, heh).
