I have a crooked site on a Franchi I will be picking up shortly and I wanted to just swap it for a brass or white bead anyways.

Problem is I can not find a 4-48 TPI bead anywhere on the interwebs. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Or have another route I should take to replace the bead.

Are you sure about that size?

Seems logical that it would be metric

An M3 thread (which is what I've always seen on modern European made guns) has a 0.5mm pitch. So a 1 inch run (ie 25.4mm) of metric M3 has 50.8 threads. Pretty close to 48tpi but not not congruent, and certainly won't fit.

There's a fair chance that the crooked sight bead is someone's attempt to get an Imperial part into a metric hole.
