I think "lesbian hog humper" would be a good name. Maybe
you can use that for your 101. On the other hand guys
who flew the F101 at Shaw AFB had patches that said,
"One O wonder". That might work.

 

My buddy has a Browning A-5 that he calls Thumper. He kept bringing it to the skeet range, we'd both shoot one or two stations with it then reach for our gas guns. He's finally going to relegate it to deer duty - shotguns are required in our neck of the woods. Kind of fitting, going after Bambi with Thumper! I kind of like "Death Itself" for my gun, but like Airchair Bronco, I'm going to wait until I'm more consistent.

 

My 1950 Stevens 311A is named "Elmer" and my 1958 Ithaca M37 is "Phud."

 

If you go to the browning website and watch cynergy clip, You'll understand way my cynergy was dubbed (SEXY) and its seem to stick :roll:

I saw a great name on another site: "Helmut Von Mauser".

 

We've got a Browning A-5 magnum and we call it "Master Blaster". I've got a 391 too, it goes by many names, mostly "My Gun"

I have a M3200 that I made up using some custom barrels
and I have shot most of my best scores with it. I call it
the "9 pounder hammer", because it weighs 9 pounds and
breaks things really well.

My 20ga. Citori bird gun is called the Featherduster. I had an Ithaca 37 years ago that a friend named Old Jed (I forget exactly why), my wife calls my Winchester Model 24 The Ugly Gun and my 12ga. BPS is known as The Flight Canceller. I also have a Winchester 94 that's called Number One (I shot my first deer with it years ago).

My 1926 Rem. Model 11 has been dubbed "The Howitzer" because of the way the barrel goes back and forth. My model 12 goes my many names, "The old cornshucker", "The blunderbus" because of the gigantic bore of the spreader choke on the Cutts Compensator, or somply, "the Ol' Winchester". Had an Ithaca 600 I called "the hammer" because it did not fit me at all and beat the crap outta me.

I haven't named my Beretta I guess. Maybe I should one of these days. If tradition follows suit and I name it with as much imagination as I used to pick out my nickname for this site it'll be a lame nickname indeed.

My little H&R .410 is "topper" or the "idiot stick".

My old Stevens/Savage 67D is the "Old Piece of Sh*t" or "The Fencepost". Both names fit it rather well.

My bad, I meant to say I don't have any names for my shotguns (or rifles).

 

Last year I bought a secondhand Stoeger Condor with 26" barrels to use as a cheap backup/loaner/mud gun. I mostly shoot trap with my Beretta, but once in a while I'll take the Stoeger out just for the heck of it. It looks so short compared to all of those long barreled trap guns, so my wife nicknamed it "The Baby Gun".

 

"the Addition" because i spent the money i had saved for the addition on my pole barn on a gun instead.

I dont name my guns,But my old friend C.R.Booth now long deceased,called his 870 riot gun "the Devils walking stick" .I always liked that.

Seriously, never named any of my shotguns, rifles, or pistols. If I named them, I might be too tempted to talk to them. And that would be wierd. :wink:
