I am trying to find out how much my shotgun might be worth>
Discription: Fox Sterlingworth, Model 1911, Serial # 59243. Double barrel side by side, automatic ejectors, 12 *****

Here's what the Bluebook says .

STERLINGWORTH
- 12, 16, or 20 ga., 26, 28, or 30 in. barrels, various chokes, boxlock, extractors, double trigger, checkered pistol grip stock. Mfg. 1905-30.
Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10%
N/A $1,475 $1,250 $975 $875 $750 $575 $500 $450 $395 $350 $300

Add 33% for auto ejectors.
Add 50% for 20 ga.
Add 20% for 16 ga.
Add 25% for single trigger.
Ser. no. range on 12 ga. Sterlingworths is 50,000-161,556, 16 ga. is 300,000-378,481, and 20 ga. is 250,000-271,304.

I am trying to find the value of a (Savage over and under 410&22 gun). The gun was made in Chicopee Falls, Mass.
It is in good condition.

if the gun is in good shape you can get $175 to $225 because for some reason people have gone crazy over them :?:

care to show an example or two of that statement?

But other than that, the original post is about a month old and I suspect the poster got his answer never to return again, that is if he even came back for the answer.

I have to agree with the 175-225 especialy for a very good or better older 50s thru early 70s gun. A friend of mine bought one [$150] from a guy walking at a gun show, before he got out the door with it he was offered 200....go figure
