I started with a cheap Bob Allen mesh vest for $35. I then got a Browning mesh shooting vest for a bday gift. I really love it!
I now shoot everything with a cool Winchester mesh shooting vest. Bothe the Browning and the Winchester vest have a pouch that is used to hold a removable recoil pad.
I swear by mesh vests, as you might tell. If its gets chilly, wear a long sleeve shirt. I wear a separate hull bag for empties.
