Friend of mine inherited a Beretta Silver Snipe, great wood, great bluing and seems tight. He noted the bottom firing pin was broken and ask if I would do a cleaning and install new pins... I had never seen one so I said "Sure". Changing pins was no problem but during cleaning and polishing I noticed what I would call a crack extending from both firing pin bores extending to the right and joining at the right side fo the receiver.... both start about 1/8" from the firing pin hole. Do not look like any sort of machined line..... I am thinking I need to let Don know he has a beautiful wall hanger. Any Snipe owners out there that could let me know if its a normal item of if the gun is broken?? Thanks....... Larry
