Not much action lately on the Kolar forum so I’d thought I’d post this eye candy up.
Gun will be a dedicated 28 ga with 32” barrels.
Grade 2 wood
Gloss barrels
CLP stock @ 15 1/4” LOP
Standard receiver
Ramped tapered rib with center bead.
Im 2 months into the wait. Should be around 12 weeks total, so I’m getting close

Great day in the morning! Fantastic wood!!! I've toyed with the idea of getting Kolar to build a set of 28 gauge barrels for my older sporter. Please post pics when your gun is complete!

I would like to see the stock finished. I am terrible at envisioning what a stock is going to look like from seeing a blank. Both of my custom stocks I had the stock maker pic them out.

I’ll definitely post a pic once it’s done. Kolar sent me three blanks to choose from. I’ve always gone for the traditional straightish grain with figure if that makes sense. This will be my first departure from that.

I don't normally click the "follow" button but I will for this thread so I don't miss the finished product. I'd suggest buying a lotto ticket but you probably used up your luck when you scored that blank!

Here it is after 3 months. Sorry for the bad pictures. Kitchen has the best light in the house.

I believe Kolar glass beds the receiver into the stock.
