Spolar hydraulic hose length

I would like to locate my hydraulic pump farther away from the press than the current hose assemblies allow. Am I wrong to think that new longer hoses and some additional fluid is all I need to do?

In general, hydraulics really don't care about hose length.
Take your current hose(s) to a hydraulic shop near you and they should be able to fix you up.
Make sure you know the minimum length that you require them to be. If your pump is noisy, you might want to put it in another room or in a noise insulated enclosure with enough room so it won't overheat.
If you know what fluid is suggested by Spolar, get some of that as well.
Here is a link to some shops that may be near you.

Call Spolar and ask them what to do. So far as i am aware, none of the people who have responded so far use a Spolar, let alone with the hydraulics.
