Springfield Arms Co.

The Springfield Arms Co. was bought by Stevens in about 1877.
Before Stevens bought them they were located in Springfield Mass.
As I understand it, and info is sketchy, that the Springfield Arms Co, prior to being bought by Stevens only made percussion revolvers.

Thanks, I thought it looked an awful lot like a Stevens.
