I have decided a wonderful tool would be for all of us to fully understand the rights we each have in our individual states. I have compiled a list of links that should take you directly to the laws as currently written (6-27-03). IF I leave a state blank, and someone knows of a link for that state's laws, please feel free to post it.

FYI, Chicago requires gun registration. Its $20 per year for the application and you need 2 photos and to have the application notorized. FYI they have not allowed handgun registration since the early 1980's.
with the ATA Grand American moving to illinois there has been lots of questions about illinois gun laws as they apply to non residents. here is a link to a great article written by 25 yr veteran of the Illinois State Police. http://www.shootata.com/illinois_gun_laws.htm
Could somebody please tell me if Kansas has or enforces the "Obligation to Flee" or the "Duty to Retreat"? I've been searching for months and all I get is the "Stand your Ground" law in Florida, nothing else.
