Sorry if I missed it, did a search and found nothing so I thought I'd ask...

Has anyone ever bent their stock to add cast on/off? If so, what method, or how did you go about doing it?

Also, if you dont mind..how were the results?

Thanks!

Stock bending is a job best left to a professional.
They have the know how an the correct jigs to do this. If you don't know what you're doing its very possible to ruin your stock, either by cracking or breaking it.

Send Mike Orlen, the resident gunsmith a pm or e-mail an get his opinion. He's supposed to be a good stockbender.

Yeah, what Mr. Ben said :)
In all seriousness, Mike Orlen is as free with good advice as was the late Dr. Gaddy. Very generous. Some time ago, stemming from a post here, Mike sent me a copy of an article on the subject which he had written. I'm pretty certain he would do the same for you.

I had Cole Gunsmithing bend a Silver Pigeon II stock for me with excellent resutls. No stock finish damage and took the stock from cast-off to cast-on. Cost me about $130 plus shipping. Well worth it in my opinion.
