The local sporting goods store is advertising a Stoeger Condor I, O/U, for $294.00. It looks pretty inviting, just to shoot some clays and dove hunt. I don't know much about Stoeger nor these guns and would like an opinion...PS: they also have a Verona O/U silver for 600.00. Thanks...

I bought a Stoeger Supreme Deluxe about 4 months ago. I use it just for sporting clays and skeet. I have put about 2000 rounds thru this gun and have had no problems with it. I have read that the other models the Condor and the Condor Supreme were not as good as the Supreme Deluxe thats why I bought this gun and it was in my price range 450.00. It also has selectable trigger on it.
I also have a Condor Supreme Deluxe in 20 ga. and love it. It has been through some bad times and hasn't failed me yet. The only problem is that the firing pins not making good contact in winter conditions but after a couple of rounds it works like a charm. It has good lockup and good ejection though not the best in the world. Shooting clays and dove won't be any problem at all seeing as I have put mine through some tough conditions.
