I always wondered.......................

The date of my inception was 6 days after my parents were wedded.

Pretty danged quick, wouldn't you say?

People used to be real particular about counting up the time from a wedding to the birth of the first child, and if it was less than 9 months, tongues would wag.

My Grandmother (born in the 1890's) said she learned from experience not to do that. Her first child (my mother) was born about a year after the wedding. However, my Grandfather was away from home a lot in the first few months, so she says she is certain she knows exactly when the baby was concieved, and it was born only 8 months later, and appeared to be full-term. With a little bad luck, she could have been a victim of gossip.

You just never can tell about conception dates.

Sorry...forgot to put in the little smily faces in my post, and yes, I'd agree that you're right.

Whatever the case, I couldn't be more blessed than to have the parents I do...and I'm sure glad they had me!!!!!
