--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am looking at getting a Benelli Supersport with the carbon fiber stock. I think they are a really sharp looking gun. A rep at Bass Pro said the Benelli semi-autos are the most trouble free of all semi-autos on the market due to the inertia system, but that the carbon fiber on this model tends to fray and look ragged after some wear. Has anyone else heard of or experienced this? If so, does Benelli repair/replace the parts?
The gun will be used primarily for skeet. Any opinions?

LongShank - I don't know where he gets his info. I've had a Supersport for over a year know. Thousands of rounds through it and it still looks like new. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Got two...look new. I`d buy another one if I needed it. I love them for SC`s.

I don't have any first hand experience with Benellis. But I do have lots with carbon fiber. He knows nothing about carbon fiber laminates, I can tell you that.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback. They are a really sweet looking gun. I'm leaning more and more toward getting one.
