Hi all,

I have a Benelli Nova 20g youth model that I'd like to turn into a turkey hunting gun. Is this just as simple as purchasing a full size matching camo rear stock or is there more to it than that? It's probably 8 years old if that has any bearing on parts. I would like to potentially switch it back when my youngest gets older. Assuming it's the same as my 12g Nova, there are plastic plugs that go in the holes where one would mount a rail or scope. Can anyone give me guidance on where to find those plugs? I would like to have them on hand for switching back, and could use them for my 12g as well.

Is the stock on a 20 ga Nova youth model removable?
I assumed they were always removable? They certainly have been across the many other brands and models I have. I've never removed the butt plate on this gun.

12 ga Benelli Nova shotguns have a molded one piece stock and receiver. I don't know about 20 ga youth models. Super Nova 12 ga shotguns hava a removable stock.

Well that is interesting, and unfortunate! That may explain why in my internet searching I have yet to be able even find a replacement stock of any kind, including youth (even though I'm not looking for youth).

Just put a slip on butt pad on it to add an inch to the lop.
