Your long and careful posts on the MEC reloader and your experiments with light loads got me to work on several areas relating to my reloading and caused great improvements.

I removed the auto primer feeds from both machines, cleaned them, and sprayed them down with Silicone and wiped dry as you suggested. Hard to believe the improvement. I thought I had them clean and slick, but this is worlds better.

In regards to the collet sizer problems I was having on one machine. I thought my problem was with the sizer, but in reality part of the problem was the actuating rod for the sizer gunked up and dragging in the groove in the column. I will take the machine apart and fix that.

Now I have good loads in 3/4 oz in 12 and 20 gauge and the machines work better. Thanks for the help.

It was my pleasure, Bill, and thanks for the kind words. Glad you garnered a few worthwhile tips from my scribblings.
