I've found a Verona 692 with 20 and 28 bore barrel sets. Comes with 5 chokes for each set and a hard case.

This would be my first shotgun purchase... can anyone suggest what a good price would be on this?

Alternatively, I'm considering a Franchi Veloce 20 ga. I know this board may have a Verona bias, but any comments would be appreciated. My use is quail and clays.

i picked my set up a couple of years ago and payed a little over $1600.00 new. it has been a very good setup and never a bit of troubles i am sure they are going for more these days but you still could get a deal with what's going on with verona these days..good luck..tony

If the Franchi is just a 20g, then I think this is a no brainer.... :wink: :wink:

The Veronas are top notch, nad the 692 is at the top of that list. Buy it
