on a previous post i asked everyone what a good starting gun would be for my 10 yr old to start with. everyone recommended a 20 ga. model 1100. so today i found a fixed choke imp. cyl 1100. its got some age and use but still looks decent, anyway he was driving me crazy on the way home to shoot. so when we got home i got the thrower out and weset up. he shot 5 singles str. then asked for doubles . i told him boy, youv never tried dbles before u think your ready. he said yep, well too my surprise he busted 8 dbles str before he missed a bird, then he looks at me and said ` hey , ill be as good as u soon dad. and i said yep and all the while im saying to myself son your allready better than me . lol anyway thanks all for the advice now i got my new hunting and shooting buddy hooked for life now i can enjoy many more enjoyable evenings with my son. just thought i`d share a great moment with fellow shotgunners
