Well you said the best so I tink the best is Scattergun Technology's K-9 but then again I like the semi-auto's :p

Benelli. About 10 years ago purchased a Benelli M1 Super 90 Tactical with an 18 1/2" barrel, ghost ring sights and combo pistol grip and shoulder stock. At that time paid over $800 for it but feel it was well worth it. Guess I prefer semi-autos over pumps, but that's because I never had a pump.Never had a problem with a sore wrist when firing 12 ga. 00 buck as I really pull the stock tightly to my shoulder.Feel a lot more people would prefer Benelli's to some other manufacturers if they weren't so expensive. Understandably, if you can buy an excellent SG for half the price of a Benelli, most people would go that route. I bought the M1 because at that time there was a lot of talk about them becoming banned thanks to Sarah Brady & Co.Am presently thinking of getting a Winchester Defender 1300 minus pistol grip that holds 8 rounds. Sounds like a bargain at the going price and am looking forward to a pump for a change.Safe shooting.

Our department bought Benellis for the swat team almost 10 yrs ago. 14" barrels, ghost ring sights, lights and pistol grips. The guns have functioned very well but you have to keep the oiled. We had probelms with them cycling because the side saddles were attatched too tight and caused the receivers to bind. The only other problems were caused by the length of the stocks. When shooting with a tactical vest they were just too long(however, this is true w/ any shotgun). I sent mine to robar and had it shortened to 12 1/2". It is by far my favorite entry weapon. If I had my choice, I would probably go w/ an 870 simply because I have hunted w/ one since I was a kid and I like to keep things simple.

Late again. I like bennelli M1 Practical. It's not a home defense gun. extended magazine for 8 round+1 capacity, ghost ring sights, even 2 speedloaders. REAL NICE !

I have a benelli M1 super 90 with 18.5 " barrel. I've killed my share of deer with it and like it much better than my Remington 1100.

I would like to get an 870 with a fully rifled barrel, as well as an 18" barrel with changable chokes. I want to mount a red dot on this. Deer/turkey/unwanted "guests" I've had three 870's in my life and they have always done well for me.

 Benelli M1 Super 90 Practical.

Shoots faster than I can, got 4 cases in the air at one time no probs. Just wish I could hit something at that speed. Only had jams, when I foul the cocking handle on the side of gaps, fire from the hip without sore fingers, or stretching for the pump. Cleaning is simple. No wasted weight with gas works. No additional bulk on fore end. Unloading is fast, with the cartridge drop lever pushed up; rack the action repeatedly until empty. Slug is easier with the use of the ghost sights. 10 + 1 capacity. And all this out of the box....
