Hi, What the title says, 20ga, 30-30, and 22 Jet.
The gun shows some use, but pretty decent shape. Wood is also good, with no cracks.
The guy wants to do a little horse trading, and I thought it would make a decent deer rifle for my grandson. The 30-30 that is.
Was the quality good on the older H&R's?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you

The gun costs less than $200 new.

The barrels cost somewhere around $85

I wouldn't offer more than $200 for the whole thing...

I figure the 22Jet barrel is pretty much useless considering ammo prices, although he has a couple of boxes to go with it.
The 30-30 is what I was interested in, but checking new prices it would probably be better to go the new route.
I'll offer him $150. I shouldn't lose anything with that price.
Thank you sir

id have to agree 150 -200 would max it out , the 22 jet yu could sell on H&R talk lot of guys looking for them but 50-75 is tops , the 3030 should be a good shooter for ya, i had on it was a 3030 20 ga combo, both shot well if your grandson is small recoil withthe 30 might be a bit much in the light rifle , reload fot it and do some lighter lead loads first,?
