I am a Dogtra fan. I used a borrowed Tri-tronics for two years and it worked great too. I could easily recommend either. I just like the controls of the Dogtra a bit better. When I bought my own I touched 'em all and played with 'em all and looked at all the features, etc. etc. In the end I bought Dogtra.
