I have Westpoint 911(Stevens) double barrel 12 ga. Looks like a Stevens mod 511. The forend is attached to the barrels with a single screw. No forend metal. There is a spring with a metal half moon piece that holds the barrels to the frame. How is the best way to remove the barrels without driving out the hinge pin?
Thanks

Probably snaps in place like lots of side by side shotguns. Numrich arms may have an exploded drawing which will help determine if that’s the case. To remove the forend, pull it away from the barrels.

No, the forend is held on to the barrels with a screw. Once you remove the forend, the barrels are held in place with a coil spring. In other words, one go shoot the gun without the forend attached.

I drove out the hinge pin to remove the barrels. I had to turn a tapered slave pin to get it back together. Got to be a simple way to remove the barrels.... Some trick to release the spring. wish I could do pictures.
