Last I checked Krieghoff and Perazzi sold every gun they imported into the US with an 18 month wait for a custom Perazzi. Everyone will raise prices and blame tariffs until people stop buying the guns.
If the tariff is 20% then look for a 35-40%% increase to the consumer. If guns stop selling, retailers will offer "Special Deals" of 20% tariff plus 10% on top of that.

Are you saying that dealers have purchased all the guns imported to the U.S. I looked at two high dollar Perazzi's that show up in PSA's inventory and also in Cole's inventory which makes me think that they are sitting at Perazzi USA warehouse in Azusa, CA

The same gun? On both their websites? You sure about that?

Positive, I actually liked the one at PSA better until I realized the stock was the same on both. The easy one to find is the gold lion. They both have the same wood so I have to believe they are the same gun unless Perazzi is using paper overlay on the big guns.

All I have is one is colegun.com and the other is pacificsportingarms.com. It is pretty easy to thumb through until you find the Perazzi lion gun there is only one on each site. Please let me know if you think I was right or wrong after you look. It is on page 2 on Cole and 4 on PSA.

The other one is the gun to the left of the lion on Cole's site and bottom middle of page 3 on PSA's site Gold SCO. I think it is interesting.

It must be the same they both have a 004 serial. I figured all those guns were on the shelf, all PSA’s pictures are the same. Guess not!

I guess with a $50k gun they have to expand their visibility, they prob don’t move very fast. Easy to tie up cash in that. Wonder if the dealer has the gun or azusa

PSA says the gun is in MI and Cole says it’s in FL, wonder where it actually is lol
In a warehouse in Azusa California called Perazzi USA. If you purchased both at the same time you could get them for false advertising. There is a law to this effect in real estate whereas an agent can not counter offer a property to two parties at the same time without certain verbage.

Well, I guess they don’t sell the $50k guns quickly, but <$30k guns move. I like to ogle the engraved Krieghoffs on Paxton’s website and the inventory certainly changes.
Over the last 10 years the world luxury markets have done very well and they will continue to do so. There has been an increase in the number of multi million dollar homes being bought with cash. If you can plunk down $5,000,000 in cash for your home an SC3 sporter is not a big deal.

I would think that if the retailers raise the price of their guns due to tariffs, real or imagined, and they don't sell, then the manufactures won't have subsequent orders. I seem to recall it is called supply and demand. Eventually somehow something will give. I know what I will pay and I know how pleased I will be to stick with what I currently have.

We live in interesting times.

Currently there is a 20% tariff going into effect on Italian guns beginning on July 15.
Not so. BRUSSELS, July 7 (Reuters) - The European Union will not receive a letter from the United States setting out higher tariffs, EU sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Monday, and is eyeing possible exemptions from the U.S. baseline levy of 10%.

That would be good. Now I can possibly wait until my timeframe to purchase.

My local trap, skeet, and sporting clays range is also a very large Guerini dealer as well as carrying Krieghoff, Browning, Benelli, Beretta, and others.

I was looking for a Guerini about two months ago. I asked if the tariffs had taken effect and his reply was “ He had been told by Guerini the tariff increase was already being implemented. He said his response to Guerini was to tell them not to send him any more guns until he notified them otherwise.“

The gun shop owner further stated he thought the tariff might be lifted at some point in the future and he didn’t want to be stuck with guns in inventory that were higher cost. 🤔

Yeah that would be a real risk for a stocking dealer. I wonder how many will sit on the sideline until this levels out. Or maybe just order only after customer purchases.

Guerini still has 10% “subject to change”

I saw that when I was looking to buy.
Then I went on GB and looked through the listings. It became obvious to me that while most had been price adjusted there were a few at pre tariff levels. I picked up a pre tariff Summit with an adjustable comb at the same price as a post tariff standard comb. So if you look you might be able to find the gun you were looking for in either new old stock prices or pre tariff price sometimes.

Currently there is a 20% tariff going into effect on Italian guns beginning on July 15. Do you think that manufacturers will pass this along with a 20% price increase. Should we buy while we can at the current price.
If you were them, wouldn't you?
