Value and Opinion on Citori Lightning 16ga Field O/U

I saw this gun in a local shop today and it looked used. Bluing 99-100%. Wood 95% (slight scratches and scuffs). Bore 99% (fouled with burnt powder and plastic). Price tag $1495.00 The employee said it was new.

Also, aside from being a 16 (I'm a 16 fan and no I'm not old -38), is this built on a smaller frame? It appeared slimmer than my Citori Field 12 O/U.

As for 16 shell availability, the local Walmart stays stocked up with a few various loads.
