i have an 1897 12 gauge shotgun sereal #299801 it has a metal but plate it is in fair condition i used it for grouse hunting.im now liveing in florida and have little use for it and i wish to sell it.i would any info on this gun .thanks jerry.

Grouse gun heh,heh..Yeah I've been called on to "put down" some Grouse nastiness and the 1st gun I go to is my 'ole' 97 loaded with double O.Their "Banzai" charge is a experience to behold; curdle your blood it will!
