Sorry that this is not shotgun related but this is the best place I know of for info.

I have a Kimber Classic Custom .45 ACP that I would like to get a value on s/n K001641. It was stolen from me about 8? years ago and was just returned to me through the police dept. It had been well used while out of my possesion.

I had it reblued back to original matte. The smith put new bushings in and polished the parts that needed it. Someone had also replaced the original grips with rubber.

I am not looking to get rid of it. I have had some offers that make me think that I need to figure out exactly what I've got.

Thanks for the help.

I had written it off. Imagine my surprise when I got a letter telling me to come and get it.

Thanks Natty. I was offered 400 for it before I sent it in. When the smith was done with it he told me to basicly name a price and some other guy was in there and wanted to trade straight across for a 1300 dollar gun.

I think the market is better for the guns that were made in Clackamas Or.

I'll hang on to it for awhile even though I am more dangerous throwing the damn thing than I am shooting it.

thanks again
