I'd like to know the value of my shotguns--

The information on the side of the 1st gun is:
Springfield, model 947E, Savage Arms, Westfield, Mass., Proof Tested 410 Bore, S#-P183622

I also have a Browning Sweet Sixteen, Information on side is:

Browning Arms Company St. Louis, Mo., Special Steel 16 gauge shells 2 3/4 with a dark wood stock & grip.

In good condition, some scratches on the wood. The only other numbers I can read are "ok 2 88".

I believe its about 50 years old, but I'm not sure.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

this model of Springfield / Savage was a utility type shotgun made for the chain store industry It shows up prominently in the cross over lists , however it doesn't appear to be a very valuable gun probably running at just under $100 for a really good one.

the year on the Browning is important to the value could you post the serial number (make the last two digits xx for security) and we can look it up
