Hi everyone I'm new in this forum and I have a question to ask (who for what I see have a lot more experience than me with shotguns). Recently I purchase a verona sx405 and I'll be looking for a magazine extension but I could't find anything, do you know where I can find one or if it is another extension for another shotgun model that I can adapt to the verona. :?

Is the mag ext you are looking for the weighted version, or the one to hold more shells???

I dont think the weighted should be to hard to find.

I am curious on why you would need one for shells when the gun already holds 6 rounds total (1 in chamber - 5 in mag)?? Plus I dont think they make one, but I can look if that is what you want.

Hose, the mag I'm looking is the one to hold more shells and I will be very please if you can find me one. I know that the gun hold 6 rounds total but it will be really nice if it can hold 8 or 7 plus 1 in the chamber, just to give it a tactical look

You can check H&R and see if they have one for the Excell Auto, the new importer of the Verona 405 auto. I didn't see one listed, but you could call and see.

I tried the Remington Mag Tube Extension on the H&R Excel Auto 5 shogun and it does fit. The TacStar tube I tried will not screw all the way down because there is not enough thread space on the TS tube. It likes about 1/8". I didn't have a Choate Tube to try, it might have more thread space. A spacer can be made out of a 1" ID washer to fill the gap and the TS tube will work. If it fit the H&R Excel it should work on the Verona 405 also.

Here is a picture of a H&R Excel Auto 5 with a 22" barrel. It is the same gun as the Verona 405. I installed a Remington 870 3 shot magazine tube Extension on it. I use a Wilson Combat 870 sling plate adapter to fill the void. It serves two purposes. Act as a spacer and a sling mount. I had to modify the tube because it extended past the barrel a 1/4".

WOW! that look great, I was thinking that it will be harder to adapt but thanks to your pictures I'm going to buy one too. I was thinking on a tacstar 10 shot extension because I got the shotgun with the 26" barrel.

What model will fit better, the model for the 870 or the model for the 1100/1187. Is the same thread in both?
