The gun, especially the wood, has a 60s Italian look about it, typical of the Gardone region. There is also a bit of a Germanic look to it as well...

Its not a sidelock and doesnt have any engravings and the wood does not appear to be fancy. I would think is a lower grade gun.
The problem is that unless you know the maker and the condition it could worth $50 or $50,000.

How much does the insured think 'a lot of money' means?
How much did she have it apraised for? :?
