I get a kick out of all the people that expect the employees of any discount store to be all knowing or even familiar with their product. It doesn't matter if it is the sporting goods, jewelry, or underwear departments, the employees are not expected nor trained to be all knowing. That is one reason lower prices are paid along with not having a service department. It is expected that if one has a problem with a product that it will be returned for replacement and not repair. If not under warranty or if one wants it repaired, then you have to find a service center yourself.
Wal-Mart is no different than any other big chain, just that #1 is always the one shot at. I'll buy from Wal-Mart if prices are cheaper but I certainly do not go to them for advice nor help.
