I like Wal-Mart. I live in a small town. Until Wal-Mart came we had very little choice of products and prices were very high. We would go to a larger city about sixty miles away for larger purchases. When Wal-Mart came we bought a Hover vacuum cleaner for $149.99. The only other place in town that had this exact same vacuum wanted $199.99. A $50.00 savings on one vacuum cleaner. I buy shotgun shells for $3.27 per box at Wal-Mart. Next cheapest place in town is $4.29 per box. Wal-Mart pays its workers more per hour than most other retail stores in this small town. These other stores don't have retirement plans or health insurance available to their employees. Go to any small town and and ask the average working family if they like having their Wal-Mart and they will answer yes. No one has to work at Wal-Mart. A person must walk in the door and ask to work there.
