got about 6 skunks since september... funny thing is just about every one was while goose hunting, i had a skunk walking around in my decoys... so i couldnt shoot, but i got him a little later- a 12 ***** to the teeth. That'll learn him eh?

A lesson I learned the hard way when I was about 12 years old.... check the wind direction before you shoot a polecat.

yea i forgot to do that, chased us right out of our hunting spot. plus my fantasic hunting dog went in for the grand finalee after i shot the skunk. he gave a couple of good shakes. he smelled like a rose.
