Webley & Scott ceased production of firearms in 1979. They continued to produce air rifles until 2005. The Webley & Scott name was sold and, in 2010, a new company began producing Webley & Scott shotguns in Turkey. The only thing the new guns have in common with the pre-1979 guns is the name.
