I may be on the slow train here, but a buddy of mine just pointed out that Webley Scott is now making O/U's. This is strange to me for two reasons: First WS has always been a double gun company and second, didn't they go under back in the 50's or 60's? Does anybody know anything about these guns and "who" is actually making them these days and where?

I see them new for about $900. My thought is that there is no way on God's green earth that anything out of England costs $900, especially from a company that has been around since 1790. I'm thinking someone bought the rights to the name and is now turning out guns again. But from where? Are they any good? They seem to have the hallmarks of decent guns, chrome lined bore, barrels rated for steel shot, 10 mm rib and so on. Scratching my head on this one.

Several discussion threads already on SGW. Use the "Search" feature up top to find them.
I don't get on the ful website very often and for some reason the mobile app will no longer pull up my previous posts or allow the search function to work. No matter what I search, it comes up as having no results. Strange and also obviously hindering as far as using handy features that make a forum enjoyable and practical. Thanks for the info though. When I get access to a real computer I'll read up on it. Take care.
