I think there are some really lite 20 gauge loads with 1000, but really too fast for the 20, 1250 is better suited. And 1250 can be used in the 12 very well, but doesn't like lite loads, does very well stoked up. Both single based elastic propellants, meter well and can be bought in 25 pounders.
