I have a western arms corp. ithica ny shotgun. I am not sure of the year. It is a long range side by side double barrell, double trigger. It has a pointing dog in grass on both sides, not worn, very good condition, stock in excellent condition. markings under barrells right side (looking down barrell), are on flat bottom, 33165 then PAT'D, and left side on bottom of the barrell are the same #'s 33165. When my husband was alive, he said it was worth around $1500 because there is was something different about it but I don't know what that is. Is he right in its value, and can you tell my why. I dont know what gage it is I couldnt find that marked anywhere. thank you for any information you could give me on it.
