My suggestion would be. Bismuth or tungston for long range geese. I hate steel shot with a passion but if that is what you are useing i would say T shot or BBB.

I've never tried the choke but see how it does in YOUR gun with the following loads in #2 or B shot sizes.

Remington Hevi-Shot
Federal Tungsten
Kent Impact Tungsten Matrix

If it's an older gun you might want to look @ Bismuth.

Try patterning modified choke using Remington Heavy Shot. It's expensive but IT WORKS. Go to www.remington.com and look at their Heavy Shot add. Also check out their recommendations as far as what choke to use.

I used both steel and Heavy Shot a few weeks ago. I watched steel bounce right off of a couple of geese. I watched geese bounce off the ground when hit with heavy shot.
