Hi, I'm new to your forum. I must say it's well done, with much good info. So, I have a question. I've just gotten a Ithaca S X S double. It is 16 ga. and has 28 inch barrels, with ejector. I think both sides are mod choke. The serial number is 198000. Both barrels are stamped with "SMOKELESS POWDER STEEL". There is a setter at point stamped on the side plates. Everything works, there is some pitting near the end of the barrel. The rest of the barrels have about 80% of the blueing left. The bore is bright with a couple of minor pits. The wood is scratched with the finish very worn but not dented. The checking is worn and not sharp. Also, there is a pheasent in flight on the butt plate. Is this a field grade Flues? If it's not too much trouble, what is it worth?
