Remington 1100 Trap w/monte carlo stock

The gun is 35 years or so. Does anyone know if the MC stock was the TA or TB trap model?

I used to live in the Uk and shot DTL trap there using a Win 101 trap gun.

I made it to the 27 yard line, ATA and PITA, in the late 70's with my Model 12. Since then I have been using a Ljutic Mono Gun for singles and handicap and my Remington 3200 with 32 in. barrels with a Release-pull for doubles.

I try to shoot a Browning BT-100 for singles and Handicap, and a Browning Citori O/U for doubles. The guns are much better that the person behind the stock.

That's funny that someone else said an Ithica Model 37 featherlite. I've been using this same gun (was my fathers from the early 50's) for some time now. And although I have been getting ok scores with it.. it was pounding my shoulder black and blue when I shoud 75 rounds or more. But I love the gun and still use it when I can.

Now i'm using a Browing BPS. There's just something I really like about the bottom ejection of the bps and model 37. I also like the added 'challenge/sport' of a pump.

But what I really enjoy is scoring higher w/ a pump while my buddies use citori's and auto loaders :)

However, having said that.. I'm sure that once the money makes itself available to me sometime down the road.. i'll be the first person to run to my local gun store to get the latest and gratest citori... it's just a damn nice gun!!!

Winchester 101 single barrel 34" trap. Forcing cone milled out, Magna-Ported and a Counter -coil in the butt stock. Barrel choked super full. Had it made for me in '68. I can't imagine a finer fitting shotgun for the sport in it's price range. I had only two broken firing pins in all these years.
