A buddy of mine owns an orchard in Wenatchee, and he said there were three quail hatches this year. I hunted them at his place, and we found plenty.
Lots where I live and hunt on the Palouse, too. Scads of CA quail, Huns and pheasant this year. More than I've seen in a long time. I wish I could get out more.
