I have a remington model 10 pump, mfg. date 1911, serial 69,XXX. I would like to know if anyone can tell without actually measuring the chamber whether this gun takes 2 9/16 inch shells?

We put a few 2 3/4 through it before learning that this may be very wrong.

If the gun is chambered for 2 9/16, where can i buy or make shells of this size?

thank you.

I believe all M-10 were 2 3/4" chambers. I have one made in 1906 (before it was called the M-10) and another one made in 1916 and both have 2 3/4" chambers. A gunsmith can tell you in a second what the chamber length is.
