The club cost $50 a year per family to join
or $5 a day for out of county guests

We have an outdoor rifle range with 25, 50 and 100 yard targets. We also just installed 2 video cameras on the range so you can get a video of you shooting to help improve stance and such.
We have an indoor pistol range at 50 feet (I think)
We have three trap fields open to the members anytime if you bring your own thrower. To use the clubs thrower in the trap house you need to come during league and pay. One of the fields is open to nonmembers at that time (Monday and Thursday 7-10). Fields 1 and 2 are voice active and field 3 is a push button.
We also have a 3D archery setup. It's like sporting clays but with 3D foam moving archery targets.
For after shooting there is a bar with typical bar pizza and cards.

One heck of a great club! Eleven Trap/Skeet/Sporting Clays fields, great pistol range, leagues for pistols & shotguns, excellent clubhouse and facility, fabulous folks and an excellent owner/operators (Rick & Rita). I don't think there's a larger, better outfitted, nicer club anywhere within the metro area - if there is, I'd sure like to hear about it! Became a member the first day I was there, and highly recommend it...

Knob Creek Range is located a few miles South of Louisville off Hwy 44 which runs off of 31W. Probably about 12 miles off I-65. They have Trap, Skeet, and every now and again they hold a machine gun shoot. When the weather agrees I can hear them from my house. 50 cal is a loud rascal.

A very nice and very popular gun club, just 10 minutes East of St. Paul. Had a chance to shoot there today to try a new pistol that isn't allowed at my normal gun club's indoor range - an 1858 Remington black-powder revolver. Having many outdoor ranges available at Oakdale, this wa the place I was told I should be...

Nice grounds, excellent shooting facilities, and very nice folks. Interesting way of paying for range time too - $15.00 per gun, all day long, no matter how many shooters use that one gun. :D Here's a layout of their site:

LEGEND
1. Club entrance off County Highway 10. This is the sole entry point onto the club grounds.
2. Parking lots. Handicapped parking available.
3. OGC Clubhouse. All shooters MUST check-in at the clubhouse during public hours.

Public Ranges:
A. Trap Range features regulation 16- through 27-yard shooting stations and both manual and electric target throwing machines. Groups welcome.
B. 100-yard range. The small berms on this range are for IHMSA silhouette targets only.
C. 50-yard range.
D. 200-meter range. The small berms on this range are for IHMSA silhouette targets only.
E. 25-yard range. Temporarily closed for construction. The Competition Range is being used instead.

Non-Public Facilities:
a. Caretaker's House.
b. Airgun Range. Reserved for MAFTA practice and matches.
c. Administration Building. Used as command post for some matches.
d. Competition Range. 25- and 50-yard target stands. Reserved for NRA Bullseye 2700 and USPSA competition.

I definitely enjoyed my stay, and highly recommend to others to check 'em out...

2 skeet fields with 5 houses on each field all voice activated

2 trap fields

trap and skeet fields lighted and open until 11pm. ( u can shoot a round of trap or skeet for 2.50 on fridays and sundays) or you can operate the machines buy yourself any other day when there are not leagues going on, you just have to buy your clays from the club

rifle range with 100, 200, 300 yard bunkers
plinking range
pistol range
archery range
stocked fishing lake
camping with electrical hook ups

all for a low yearly price of 70 bucks

the only thing is that if you shoot skeet or trap you have to purchase your case of clays from the club which u only pay about a dollar more than the club does which goes for other things like machine up keep and up keep of the club

Is this range open to the public? Do you have a phone number and address to this range?

I live in Northern Kentucky and there are not any ranges of this type that I know of around here.

I shoot handguns and rifles.

I shoot at a small private club in western Ky. We only shoot skeet. We have 2 fields and a nice but small club house. We are open Thursday night and Sunday after church. After all this is the Bible Belt.Anyone is welcome to come and shoot. If you show us that you are safe and don't have a attitude, you are invited to shoot anytime the club is open. If you are unsafe or come with a TUDE, your invited to leave. No one has EVER been invited to leave. Nice people around here.

I shoot at "Hidden Haven" in Sugar Grove Ohio. They have trap, 5 stand and sporting clay ranges. If you like the sporting clay side of things they have 17 different courses. They are open from 9:00 am till dark and are only closed one day out of the year (Christmas).

Give them a call if you are in the area (740) 746-8568. Better yet, drop me an email and I'll go shooting with you. It doesn't take much to get my truck heading that way.

My dad and I go to Target World in Cincinnati. It's Cincinnati's only public indoor shooting range. $225 for a family membership, but we need somewhere we can go when it's raining and during the winter.
