I have long been a 16 ga fan and have owned several over the years and currently have 3 . I have my Dads ithaca he bought right after mustering out of the Army after WWII. It is everything you are looking for light, smooth handeling and just a classic in it own right. Despite it being 70 years old I took it out after quail last month and it preformed just like it did in the 1940s. The young guy (about 35) that was the dog handler guide commented he didn't have many people show up with pumps anymore, much less a 16 ga. He was pretty surprised by the end of the day.
