It appears that Estate uses Federal hulls for their 10ga loads. But who is the manuf. of their 3.5" 12ga hulls? The ones I have look like Cheddite. They are red/orange color, not dark red like Federal.

Depends on how long they have been sitting on the shelf. Estate used mostly cheddite hulls until a year or so ago when Federal acquired Estate. Since that time it appears that Estate has been using mostly Federal hulls. So, older Estate hulls are probably chedite and newer ones are probably Federal. To be more precise about the acquisition, I think the parent company, I believe it is called ATK, actually owns Federal, Estate, CCI, Speer, and probably some other ammo companies.
