I like to read Rollin's gun fitting posts on fitting women with shotguns designed for men....not going to happen.
This week I watched a woman shooting (trying to shoot) a 20 gauge pump, field stock, 1.5 drop to comb and 2.5 drop to heel, and the butt stock had to sit so high on her shoulder that only about 1 inch of the bottom of the butt stock was on the shoulder!! Of course it was painful to shoot, and, rightfully, she quit shooting after one round of 25 shots.
Until you personally witness such a fit, a person (male) cannot visualize how much more a woman's shoulders are sloped downwards as compared to a man.
The Wenig New American stock has a drop to heel of 3.5 inches and this stock would have fit the woman in discussion here about perfectly, combined with a parallel comb.
