I have a field grade 101 with 26,5 inch barrels that weighs 7 lbs, 7 oz. The only lightweight 101 I have handled felt lighter, but I did not have the 2 guns together to make a direct comparison. My experience is that indifidual gun weights do vary with the density of the wood by as much as 6 oz or so.
