Hi Guys,

I have a chance to pick one up in 98% condition locally for $200. My intent is to give it to my son for ducks, geese and pheasants. The choke is a fixed modified. My question is can i use steel as the barrel IS NoT marked so and is this a reasonable price? thanks in advance-Steve

Niksdad, I was given a Win 120 for my 17th Christmas and I shot the fire out of that thing. I had a 12 ga, and as an adult now, I'm embarrassed to tell what I loaded up and shot down that barrel.

Responsibly speaking, I'm sure that barrel is good to use for steel as I'm pretty sure they were manufactured through the 1980's (mine was bought new in 1983). Actually, I'd imagine even your naked eye could see the barrel is likely as thick as any recent manufactured shotgun.
