i have just got my hands on a pretty good deal for a size-o-matic 800b reloader.does anyone know where i can get a manual or online manual? or any info on reloading i have a pretty good idea on how it works, but i dont know much about powder measuring, shot measuring, wad sizes, primers, ect...
any info to get me going would be great.

p.s. this is for 12 gauge, how easy is it to get parts for these things?

You should be able to get a manual from PW directly. If not...and you can't find one anywhere else, PM me and I'd be happy to send you one. I have a couple extras. If you have any problems with that machine, don't hesitate to ask here. I'm sure we can help you get it sorted out. I have 4 of them and it's a great machine. I'm sure once you get it figured out and used to it you'll be very happy with it.

Parts are readily available from PW as well. Check their website for their 800 number. Though I haven't had to call them often, I've always got good service from them with either resolving questions or ordering parts.

Buy a Lyman Shotshell Reloading Manual which will help you learn alot about reloading....and a scale.

You'll also get a great deal of info from this forum from many very experienced reloaders. Good luck.

I'd recommend the Lyman's shotshell manual for the basics of shotshell reloading. The powder co's web sites (Hodgdon, Alliant, DuPont, etc.) will have current loading data.

For P-W parts and the like many recommend Jim 'Whiz' White at [email protected]. good guy for P-W info parts & etc.

The P-Ws take their own bushings, or Hornady or RCBS will fit. You can also buy an adapter piece at Ballistic Products that will allow you to use the much more common MEC powder bushings in your P-W.
