My son said to me the other day "Daddy, when can I get a new gun?" One of the best things I ever heard! So I'm in the market for a 20ga O/U. Anyone have experience with the Silver Reserve Bantam? Website shows the weight at 7 pounds, is this accurate? Is the grip radius reduced? It checks all the boxes minus the weight. Criteria would be 20ga, 26" barrels, 6 lbs, $600 range, 13"ish LOP. I really like the CZ Quail but it has 13.75 LOP and 28" barrels. The Redhead Premier reduced LOP looks great but has 24" barrels and cost a couple hundred more. He is about 8 years old and and has been shooting a Mossberg 510 mini in 410 for the past 2 years. He actually hits clays with that thing! I plan on loading the 20ga with 3/4oz reloads for now. Only youth O/U I can find locally is a Stevens 555 compact. Website shows the 555 at 5lbs which I think would be too light, even with 3/4oz loads, and only has 24" barrels. I'm open to any suggestions. Should I consider 24" barrels
