Howdy all. This is sort of a general question: is there a good source of parts and, if necessary, gunsmiths that can work on Zabala Hermanos shotguns here in the States? Numrich has a small number of items, but it appears to be pretty slim pick'ns.

At the present, I only have one Zabala (a light little .410 SxS) but I've been very tempted to acquire a 10-gauge SxS from said manufacturer. So, anyway, I just thought I'd check.

Thanks much.

The short answer is no. Bob's gets a few things, Numrich occasionally. Tristar used to have some boxes of stuff if you could twist someone's arm enough to look. To repair much of anything these days, you are in the same situation as the made for measure crowd, buy a similar gun for parts, get a high dollar gunsmith to convert an AYA part, or make one from scratch. The only advantage to you is that there are lots of Zabalas around. Beware however. Kyrie helped me out by making some measurements. We found that guns which I would have suspected had almost identical measurements were vastly different. My idea that Zabala's factory mechanization would have resulted in standardization, was blown out of the water. When you buy something for parts, ask for dimensions or look at it in person.
